Chestnut Bakery is a well-known hidden gem tucked away in the charming alleyways of Covent Garden. Just behind the station, you’ll find this beautifully decorated spot, adorned with pink flowers you can't miss. It’s a two-story haven—perfect for when you want to escape the hustle. Grab something delicious and head upstairs for a quiet retreat. It's laptop-friendly, making it ideal for getting work done, with the added bonus of people-watching through the grand windows.

Their baked goods are top-notch. My personal favorite is the Nutella-like bun, along with their pistachio and raspberry scrolls. I always try something new each visit, hoping to find a new favorite. They also serve warm breakfast dishes—don’t miss the "posh" avocado toast, as I like to call it! The atmosphere is cozy, perfect for breakfast or a mid-day snack. It does get busy, and there’s often a queue, but it moves quickly.

Chestnut Bakery is easily one of the best spots for pastries in the city center, if not all of London. Enjoy!
