I visited Pophams. Here's a fun fact: one of my colleagues' last names is Popham! Maybe she owns it, and I should totally ask for a discount next time, right? 😂

Anyway, Pophams is this adorable little cafe tucked away on a charming, less-known road. It's so cosy that they even have seats outside, and it's always buzzing with people. I went there to get some work done on my laptop and spotted a couple of people already working on theirs. I thought, "Yes, this is the place!"

I ordered the most delicious salty-sweet, crispy baked goods and a warm medium-sized hot cocoa, and settled near the counter. But alas, the Wi-Fi signal was terrible. Even my Hotspot wouldn't cooperate! I was so bummed since I was really looking forward to working and snacking.

Despite the Wi-Fi woes, the staff was super friendly. They even warmed up my pastry, and oh my goodness, it was heavenly! However, cafes like Pophams close early and tend to run out of goodies quickly, so get there early.

I didn’t stay long because I needed to get some work done, but I’m definitely going to give Pophams another try at their bigger branch in Islington. Hopefully, they’ll have better Wi-Fi and a wider selection of treats. Can’t wait to see if it's more work-friendly there!
