Chestnut Bakery - Covent Garden
I recently visited Chestnut Bakery in Covent Garden and had a wonderful experience. Here's a breakdown of my visit:
Service and Atmosphere:
Service: Great service and friendly chat from Nishad, who was very knowledgeable about the food and the company.
Atmosphere: The atmosphere is always lovely. The place has a nice pace, and I didn't have to wait long. The design of the cafe is charming, and it's in the heart of Covent Garden.
Food and Drinks:
Pistachio Ice Cream with Brownie: The pistachio ice cream was amazing, with a delightful crunch that added texture. The brownie, however, was just okay.
Chicken Sandwich: The chicken sandwich was warm and crispy, thanks to the toasted bread and filling.
Hot Chocolate: I'm a huge fan of hot chocolate as I don't drink coffee. This hot chocolate wasn't bad, but it wasn't remarkable either. It was a bit too warm initially and cooled down quickly.
Additional Highlights:
Laptop-Friendly: I always love coming here to do some work on my laptop. My favorite spot is by the grand glass window, which has a plug socket next to it.
Recommendation: The cafe serves high-quality food, has a super-friendly staff, and is a great spot for working. I will definitely be coming over again and always recommend them.
Overall, Chestnut Bakery in Covent Garden offers a fantastic blend of great service, a lovely atmosphere, and quality food in the heart of West End.
