Hidden Gem Alert: Natti’s Indian Restaurant, Ubud
Tucked just behind the Kenran Ubud Resort and nestled among rice fields, this spot gave me the tastiest Indian dish I’ve tried in Ubud so far. It’s called **Natti’s Indian Restaurant**, and it’s got that low-key, romantic vibe — quiet, peaceful, and slightly away from all the busyness.
I went for the **Non-Veg Thali** with a **Mango Lassi**. The thali? *10/10.* Creamy, smooth, filling, and full of variety — even came with a sweet, warm dessert that wrapped the meal up perfectly called Gulab Jamun. I chose medium spice (as suggested), but next time I’d go spicier — I like a proper kick.
The mango lassi came overloaded with ice (more ice than lassi, to be real), but after I casually mentioned it, they brought me another — even though I said it was fine. That kind of care doesn’t go unnoticed. Just a note: less ice would honestly make a big difference.
The staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming — I was given complimentary water and a little snack when I arrived. The price for what I got was pretty reasonable too. There’s a resort connected to the restaurant with a pool that adds to the charm (not sure if it’s open to diners though).
**Would I recommend it? Absolutely.** Would I go back? In a heartbeat.
