Banana Tree (Angel)

Make it stand out

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

I recently visited Banana Tree restaurant in Angel and ordered the chicken pad Thai. The combination of crunchy peanuts and bean sprouts with the slurpiness of the noodles and tender chicken created a delightful mix of textures. The portion was huge and generously filled with chicken, which justified the price.

However, the flavor was quite mellow, lacking the seasoning and spices I was expecting. While it was enjoyable, it didn’t deliver the wow factor I had hoped for. On the bright side, the dish came with a generous side of prawn crackers, which was a nice touch.

The service, unfortunately, was slow. It was challenging to get the attention of a waiter to receive the menu and the bill at the end. Despite this, the food arrived quickly, which was a positive aspect of the experience. Overall, while the chicken pad Thai was good, it didn’t stand out as exceptional due to its lack of bold flavors.
